The BPO industry itself is a roughly 600 billion dollar market. One of the main reasons why call centers have become so successful in countries such as India and Pakistan are because of the cheap skilled labor along with a foreign Engli sh accent. The government has a great deal of interest in supporting the Call Center industry in Pakistan because of the high number of job creation as well as the amount of foreign exchange that comes in because of it. With a population of 160 million and a land area almost twice the size of California , Pakistan is a smaller and more unified country than most of its neighbors, with promising scope for Call Centers!
