Increase in renewable energy investment

The forecasts made by energy investment experts, about clean energy investment, was between $65 - $115 billion in 2009. This was about 26-39% lower than that of the previous year. Last year’s global financial recession had shown its impacts in renewable energy sector too. But even in between the bad aftermaths of global financial recession, the alternative energy sector was successful in maintaining a balanced state throughout 2009. There was a slight fall during the peak time of financial recession; yet, the clean energy sector revived soon. There is a significant reason behind this. So far the world is striking the balance between the demand and supply but in few countries it seems nothing as they are facing a lack of energy demanded by the rapid growth. Pakistan is one of them where the total shortfall of electricity has reached almost to 6500 MKV. The Govt has doing nothing in order to decrease the gap between the demand and supply as demands were increasing and the supply is decreasing on the other hands.
